Can I get a fabric pattern I like in another colour? Can you change the scale of the design for me?

Yes to both! 
I am happy to make simple adjustments to colors or the scale of any of my existing designs. You'll need to contact me BEFORE checkout to arrange any customization.
Once your order is placed the fabric will begin printing in as little as a few hours so it will be too late to make changes to the design scale.

• Estimated Shrinkage: 4-6% length x 2-3% width - Some shrinkage may occur during the print process and/or when washed. Pre-washing your fabric is recommended for most projects

• Pilling (1 Severe Pilling - 5 No Pilling) = 4

• Crocking - Dry, (1 high degree of color transfer - 5 no color transfer) = 4.5 (AATCC 8)

• Crocking - Wet,  (1 high degree of color transfer - 5 no color transfer) = 3.5 (AATCC 8)

• Needle Size: 80, 90

• Thread Size: 24, 27, 30

• Stitches per inch/cm: 8-12 per inch (3-5 per cm)

• Thread Type: All purpose 100% cotton or 100% polyester depending on your project

Order by the metre

Quantity of 1 = One metre = 40 inch length (100cm).

Additional metres are printed in a continuous length.

All fabrics are printed on demand by Spoonflower in North Carolina, USA (or Berlin for some orders). Most orders are ready to ship directly to you within 5-7 days.

The printing process used is ethical and earth friendly, using no water and producing very litte waste (all of which is recycled or composted).

The water based pigment dyes and inks are eco safe and child safe.

To prevent double handling and keep shipping costs low, your fabric order will ship directly from the printer to you. For this reason, I cannot offer a 'cut to size' or gift wrapping service for fabric orders.

If you have any concerns about your order please contact me immediately. I would like you to be completely happy with your purchase.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the fabric you ordered, please contact me. A replacement order may be printed if there are faults with the material or printing.

Because all fabric is custom printed on demand just for you, it is not possible to exchange fabric for another print, colour or material.

• We recommend ordering a SWATCH first if you're unsure about colour matching or type of material to use for your project.

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs to my studio in Australia. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Fabric must be folded neatly and packaged safely (preferably within original satchel)

Ship items back to me within: 21 days of delivery

You will need to contact me for my postal address.

A refund (minus any original shipping cost) is processed once the fabric return arrives in my studio and provided the item is in its original condition. 

Digital fabric printing is not the same as screen printing.

ANY colour is possible. There is no limit to the number of colours that can be used in a design.

However, metallic ink is not yet possible with the printing process used by our printers.

Digital 'print on demand' uses a pigment printing process with the highest quality planet & people safe dyes and inks, and very little water. Fabric prints are fully customizable and because each material is not printed until it is ordered, there's no fabric waste or warehoused fabric waiting to be sold.

The print on demand printing model is eco friendly and much more sustainable when compared to other dyeing and printing techniques used to produce the vast majority of fabrics on the textile market.

For most fabrics, the printing machine looks alot like a giant version of the inkjet printers you might use in your home or office. You can see a demonstration of the printing process HERE.

Techniques are always being improved so there can be slight differences in colour or fabric 'hand feel' between orders if you have placed orders on different months or years.

Due to the slubby texture of some fabrics, your yardage may contain minor printing irregularities. These are characteristic of the digital printing process on textured fabric substrates.

Preview images shown on my website are often mockup images (not photographs). I do my best to represent prints and colours as accurately as possible but as it's impossible to show EVERY combination of print colourway, fabric scale and choice of fabric substrate, be aware that your order may look different to the preview images! Print clarity is affected by print scale and the texture of your chosen fabric substrate. If you're not confident in choosing fabrics, please reach out for advice.
