Natural cotton doesn't like to be left in full sunlight or outside in the wind and rain. To keep your macrame looking fresh and beautiful keep it inside in a well ventilated spot with a little sunshine - your plant will thank you too!

It is OK if the cotton gets an occasional misting when you water your plant, however, try to avoid wetting it too frequently as this could encourage mildew growth or deterioration of the fibers.

Q. Can I wash it?
A. Yes, if necessary you can gently hand wash your plant hanger in cool-warm water with a little bit of mild laundry detergent (an earth friendly biodegradable washing liquid is best). Rinse and gently squeeze out excess water, hang in the shade on a warm sunny day to air dry. Make sure all the knots are completely dry
