➤ Summer (Lightweight) - One layer of fabric. Ideal for warm, tropical climates

➤ Double - Two layers, top layer is printed, other layer is plain white organic muslin.

 

USES

Newborn size is perfect for swaddling a baby from newborn to 6 months,  use as a photo prop, for receiving baby, a light coverup in the bassinet, or use in the pram. Also great as a burp cloth

Bassinet Blanket size is perfect as a nursing coverup, snuggle blanket in the cot or bassinet, swaddle cloth or comfort blanket for infants over 3 months. Great as a sun shade across the pram, keep the pesky flies away!

Cot Blanket is large enough to use as a summer cot blanket, top sheet or comfort blanket for children over 12 months old. Drape it over the end of a single bed as a throw blanket. Or use it on the couch. The beautiful wrinkled texture is perfect for layering.

Fabric is an original design illustrated by me.
Fabric printed by my printing partner in the USA - turnaround time for fabric printing & shipping is a minimum of 4 weeks so these blankets can not be upgraded to a rush order. Check my Etsy shop for READY TO SHIP items.

 

Total turnaround time 4-6 weeks.
Most orders can be finished within 4 weeks but can sometimes be delayed by sudden changes in my workload. If you need your order by a specific date please discuss this with me prior to placing your order. 

➤ Handmade from entirely certified organic materials. Details below
➤ Wraps are made with a double layer of fabric. Folded over and hemmed along 3 sides for the Newborn size swaddle, hemmed on all sides for the Large sized baby wrap.
The top layer is printed with eco friendly and non toxic ink which becomes part of the fabric. Some fading to the print may occur with multiple washes. See care instructions below.

➤ With this listing you are purchasing a baby wrap printed with an original Thistle and Fox design - featured in the first image only. Toys and other photo props are not included.

FABRIC

➤ Organic Cotton Double Gauze (also known as muslin or sometimes cheesecloth)
Luxurious certified organic cotton with a loose weave, unique crinkled appearance, beautifully soft on the skin and perfect for summer baby wraps and blankets as it allows good air flow so baby's skin can breathe and temp regulate while still being swaddled, safe and secure.

This fabric also works great for burp cloths and bibs. The looser weave allows moisture to quickly be absorbed so a few layers of double gauze will catch dribbles and save your clothes from those little accidents.


CARE

➤ Machine washable (warm to 30 degrees C or cold gentle cycle using mild eco friendly washing powder or detergent)
➤ Line dry in the shade to prevent colour fading in strong sunlight. Can be tumble dried on cool or gentle heat settings. Ironing is not recommended as the crinkled texture of this fabric is part of its charm.
➤ It is recommended that your baby wrap or blanket be washed separately or inside a laundry bag to prevent the fibers being snagged or pulled by zips or fastenings on other garments in the washing machine.
