WALL PREPARATION
Before application, make sure that your wall is well prepared. Surface must be clean and completely dry. If your walls have recently been painted you need to wait 3 weeks before applying wallpaper. Peel & Stick doesn't adhere well to walls painted with latex paint. However if your walls are painted with latex paint, you can rough them up a little with sandpaper to give the surface 'tooth' and help the wallpaper stick to the wall (clean the dust off first of course!)

Non Adhesive Paper (non-pasted) wallpaper is Type II commercial grade and Class A fire rated. While it involves more steps than peel & stick wallpaper, many DIYers find the process manageable with the right preparation. Professional installation is recommended for large or complex projects, but it’s certainly not required for all installations.
