Stretch Sateen is suitable for pants, skirts, jackets and dresses. An excellent choice for tailored, structured sewing projects.
The softness and practicality of cotton yarn blended with spandex is given a refined finish when woven as a sateen. The sateen weave produces a smooth hand feel and a subtle surface sheen. The base colour of the fabric is a natural white, the Stretch Sateen has excellent print reproduction and is wonderful to sew.
The stretch factor allows for form fitting garments to be extra comfortable while retaining structure
Each roll of fabric can have subtle variation in appearance and print translation. Natural fabrics may contain imperfections such as slubbing and yarn variation; These are characteristic of fibres derived from seeds and plants
CARE:
Cold delicate machine wash individually or with like textiles, turn inside out to protect print. Do not soak, wring or bleach. Line dry in shade or flat. Cool tumble dry. Iron on reverse on low cotton setting, can use steam.
Our care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing. Stretch Sateen can shrink up to 3% on the warp and 2% on the weft of the textile
